A: Our shop minimum is $100 and the hourly rates for our artists vary.

Q: How can I get a price quote?

A: There are several ways to receive a quote. We recommend filling out the contact form or emailing the shop, with reference photos and a detailed description of what you're looking for. If you have an artist in mind that will speed up the quoting process.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: Cash is preferred, however some artists accept Venmo, Zelle, Paypal, or major credit cards. We do not accept personal checks.

Q: Should I tip my tattoo artist?

A: 10-20% tip is customary and appreciated.

Q: Where can I look at your artists' work?

A: You can check out our artists’ work on our website or the shop and artists' personal Instagrams.

Q: Do I need an appointment?

A: We try to accommodate walk-ins on a first come, first served basis. Walk-ins are subject to artist availability. If you would like an appointment for a specific day, we recommend making an appointment.

Q: Do you offer consultations prior to tattoo appointments?

A: Consultations are always free. We recommend making an appointment to secure a date with your preferred artist, prior to when you would like to get tattooed.

Q: What do I bring to a consultation?

A: Please bring any reference photos to help your artist see your vision for the design, and be prepared to put down a deposit for your tattoo appointment, if you're ready to book after the consultation.

Q: Can I have an alcoholic drinks before I get tattooed?

A: NO. We cannot tattoo anyone under the influence of alcohol or any other mind-altering substances. You MUST be of sound mind and body when you're getting tattooed for your safety, and the safety of others.

Q: Should I eat and drink water before I get tattooed?

A: Most definitely. Keeping your blood sugar up and staying hydrated is important for your stamina throughout the tattoo process. Feel free to ask your artist for a bathroom or snack break at any time, and keep them up to date with how your body feels.

Q: What should I expect when I go to get my tattoo?

A: Tattoos take time. Please be prepared to wait as your design is finalized. Placement of the stencil may also take time, as well as breaks as needed for both artist and client.

Q: When should I not get a tattoo?

A: You can NOT get a tattoo if you are pregnant or breast feeding, intoxicated, if you’re having doubts, or if you’re underage. Note to the menstruating folks, you may not want to get a tattoo while on your period, as you are more sensitive to pain.

Q: Is it OK to get a tattoo if I’m sick?

A: If you are contagious or have had a fever within the last 24 hours, we will not be able to tattoo you out of consideration for your artist. Please remember deposits are non-refundable, but always talk to your artist about rescheduling.

Q: Can you tattoo over a scar?

A: Yes, if the scar is fully healed and mostly smooth to the touch. It must be healed for a minimum of 6 months and not red or irritated. A consultation is recommended if you're unsure about covering any scarred tissue.

Q: Can I use some kind of numbing cream?

A: We offer numbing cream for sale at both locations. If you would like more information, please speak with your artist prior to your appointment date.

Q: I just got a new tattoo – can I shave the area?
